First Key to Success and Happiness

As I said in my first issue, Life Is Like Magic.  It Only Looks Difficult Until You Know The Secrets. Well, this issue is going to go into detail about the first secret. That secret is this.

Your Beliefs Become Your Reality… Period.  End Of Story

Your life is a product of your beliefs.  What you believe about the world is how it will always be. What you believe the most strongly about yourself will always come true.  What you believe is what you get.  What you think about, you bring about.  Your thoughts create your reality.  It doesn’t matter how it is said or in how many ways, it all boils down to the same thing. Your life is a product of what you constantly think about whether you’re conscious of those thoughts or not.

That’s why some people have so much and others have so little?  That’s why some people who have every adversity imaginable can overcome those adversities and thrive.  That’s why some people with very little to no education become multi-millionaires and people with PhD’s are just getting by.

In addition, your unconscious thought and beliefs act as blind spots.  In other words, you can’t see them.  They are what cause you to repeat over and over again what you don’t want to do but are helpless to stop.  Your unconscious thoughts are running your life and until they become conscious, you will stay stuck.

If you think of a side-view mirror in a car, that will illustrate the point exactly.  Let’s say you’re driving down the highway and you want to change lanes.  You look in your side-view mirror and don’t see anything.  So, you proceed to change lanes. Next thing you know, you’re being honked at, or you are in an accident.  Why?  You looked and no one was there.  You could not see the other driver.  So based on what you saw (and did not see) you made a judgment and took action on that judgment.  Your blind spots (things you are not conscious of and can’t see) can be dangerous because they will allow you to have a false sense of security and cause you to do things that you would not have done if you were aware of them.

So, how do you change those beliefs and put yourself back in charge of your life?

Here are 3 things you can do right now.

1. Decide right now that you want to change your life and have it be everything you’ve ever dreamed of.  You are in charge of the decisions you make, so you might as well make powerful decisions that move your life where you want it to be quickly and easily.  Decide that you will do whatever it takes and that you’re not going to stop until you get it.

2. Find your core negative beliefs and replace them with the truth.
For example, if you keep telling yourself, “I’m not good enough.”  Ask yourself, “What am I not good enough for?”  Look at patterns in your life where you’ve stopped just short of success.  Look at where you’ve stopped yourself from even trying out for a sport or something like it.  You’ll get answers.  Listen to those answers and then see how valid they really are when you measure them against reality.  In reality you can do a lot more than you think you can.  Then ask a good friend or a parent or a sibling to help you through the process.  As you find more negative beliefs, realize they are just lies.  Get rid of them and replace them with the truth.  The truth is that you are priceless.  You can either be priceless or worth less, but you can’t be both.

3. Find someone who you trust to support you and help hold you accountable to make sure you do what you say you’re going to do.
You should trust this person completely and be willing to listen to the feedback and support you’re getting.

If you’re willing to take these steps, you’ll be way ahead of the game and well on your way to making your life an incredibly fun and exciting adventure.  You’ll do much better in school.  You’ll be more attractive because you’ll be more self-confident and you’ll have a much easier time in life.
