Born to be Successful ( Life Coaching Video)

Posted by iaam

“Here lies Steve Olsher. He spent his life chasing the all-mighty dollar.”

That was what Steve thought would be etched on his own gravestone as he sat beside his step-father who was severely ill.  It's a rather sad thought: to spend your life yearning for little green pieces of paper, even if those pieces of green paper make the world go round.

But – if we're not chasing after bits of green paper, what are we doing?

Whether you want to excel in sports, to be a world-renowned novelist, to construct the most famous building in the world or to be the next Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga, your detailed calling is different from the other 8 billion people in this world. Not every ambition is as grand and as known as the other, but each individual defines and lives out success in his or her own separate way. This is the message Life Coach Steve Olsher delivers in his book Journey To You: A Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming Who You Were Born to Be.

Olsher is known as America’s Reinvention Expert because he shares what he has learned in being successful with others who “meander through life” wondering what success is for them and how to live it – more often leading them to personal success in their 20s and 30s.

At the age of 20, Olsher actually owned his own alcohol-free nightclub, The Funky Pickle – which was probably as hip as its name. And there's no reason to say that it couldn't have been you – even if owning a nightclub isn't your cup of tea.

In addition to The Funky Pickle, launching one of the Internet’s first fully functional e-commerce websites in 1995 (LiquorbyWire.com), and being the Chairman and Co-Founder of San Francisco-based Liquor.com, Olsher has found time to launch Reinvention radio, a way to share his message with the public.
Let Love Rule
We each are born with an inherent blueprint that we must heed in order to make an inordinate difference in both our life, and the lives of others,” says Olsher, serving as an example of this message himself. His thoughts, while his step-father was ill, led him to realize that life isn't always about going after one thing. It's about so much more than that – especially if you don't feel complete unless you have done something to enrich the lives of others.

Being a teen, reflection on the future is a thought which flies into your head at any given time of the day. It's like coming to the cliché crossroads, where there are seventy-four signs or so, asking you to please-step-this-way-and-enjoy-the-ride.

Ask yourself what you want your gravestone to say. Who do you want to help? How will you do that? These are the questions that are often thought about when it's too late. Answers to them – and only you and a brainstorming session can help – allow you to figure out a path to your destiny, your calling and your “what” – all before turning 25.
